This past week has been…
Insano.
But it’s nearing completion. Mostly insane because of the academic side of things. Like my 664 and 591 assignments. And my physics exam. But, I think I did well on the exam, so that made today nice.
Things are coming along very nicely in the new studio at WERW. Today I migrated some analog inputs to digital, and also got the turntable inputs working :)
HOWEVER, my digital camera connection still doesn’t work! arrrrgh.
Must… Kill… Canon
So, my Canon PowerShot A70 used to work fine on my computer. Now the TWAIN driver starts up when I power on the camera, and screams, “Cannot connect to camera!” WTF? I’ve uninstalled, reinstalled the driver, restarted, not restarted, connected and disconnected, but NOTHING WORKS. And it worked, like, two days ago. I officially hate Windows 2000, Canon, and USB as of now.
I’m lusting after…
After Henry’s blog entry about how he wanted a Saab, I thought I’d put in my two cents. If you didn’t know, I already own a Swedish car, a 1987 Volvo 745 Turbo Intercooler. It’s a great car. But I’m personally lusting after an S60R or V70R (oh yes, turbocharged goodness in a grocery getter. Kind of like my car, but faster). Check out the pics for yourself. Oh yeah, it’s a six speed like the Saab, but it’s also AWD.
Home Despot Art
It’s spontaneous, nifty, and just kind of in the way. It’s art created by Stefanie Nagorka, who makes sculptures in Home Depots across the country, takes a photo, then walks away. I wish there were more pictures to look at :(

“Bush Seeks to Expand Access to Private Data”
Not a huge surprise, really. Proposed increase in the number of crimes punishable by death, and easier access to citizens’ data, without a court order. Joyful, no?
