“Pass-Out Game” kills

I remember back in the day at Boy Scout camp some kids used to hyperventilate then have someone bear-hug them until they passed out. The lack of oxygen to the brain causes a kind of high. Never quite understood the appeal behind it, but apparently it can be fairly dangerous.

Dalton Eby may be the second Idaho child killed in recent months while playing a choking game, trying to cut off the oxygen supply to the brain to achieve a type of “high.”
