Harpers Ferry

This weekend Anne and I went to her family’s place out in Shenandoah. It was relaxing and rejuvenating, and on Sunday we went to Harpers Ferry, WV, a town to which I’d wanted to go for some time. It was pretty, and quaint, but touristy and occasionally way too kitchy. The views were gorgeous, at least when the sun decided to show itself. Next time we’re definitely going up to Maryland Heights which is supposed to have the best views of the area. I have some photos of the trip up on Flickr.
