The Real Silver Spring
This is the actual Silver Spring for which the area is named, discovered in 1840. It’s next to one of the Discovery Channel buildings a little distance from Georgia Ave. We were coming back from Mayorga and ran into it. Hard to imagine how differently the area looked 166 years ago.
