Went camping this weekend at Shenandoah. While I’ve been to the park a number of times, I really haven’t been all that far south in the park. This time I got as far as mile 49, where we went for a short hike down to a swimming hole along Rose River. We also did a (supposedly 6.5 mile, but it felt like less than that) hike to Overall Run Falls, at 93’ the highest falls in the park. Photos here.

Down below I’ve put a video (my second ever on YouTube) which was filmed at Crescent Rock Overlook. There’s a view of Hawksbill Mountain, the highest point in the park, as well as the valley just west of Skyline Drive.
