Friday night ride
At just over 10 miles, this was an improvement over yesterday’s ride. The monuments and Capitol were beautiful in the twilight, and I got some ear-splitting excitement out of the planes roaring out of DCA (lower right) at my turnaround point.
First ride of the season
Today was gorgeous, with highs around 70. It’s still pleasant out; the windows are open and I’m lounging in shorts at 21:45. I went cycling for the first time this season (well, first time farther than 0.5 mile). It was just 5.5 miles but it felt great.
